Recapturan a varios presos que intentaron fugarse de los calabozos de Polimaracaibo

A tempranas horas de la mañana de este miércoles 17 de abril, un grupo de 20 presos, aproximadamente, intentó fugarse de los calabozos de la comandancia general de la Policía de Maracaibo ubicada en el parque Vereda del Lago en la avenida 2 (El Milagro).

De manera extraoficial se pudo conocer que los reos abrieron un boquete cuya salida daba justamente para el parque, el cual mantiene permanente custodia policial. El ruido alertó a varios oficiales que estaban en la parte externa de la comandancia y, en consecuencia, rodearon el sitio para recapturarlos.

Otra versión indica que los presos a través del agujero llegaron a un salón donde se encontraban más de 30 funcionarios policiales realizando un taller, lo que originó una tensa situación pues los uniformados no portaban en ese momento sus armas de reglamento.

Trascendió que los reos tampoco estaban armados y en tiempo récord fueron recapturados. Sin embargo, ninguna de estas dos versiones ha sido confirmada por ninguna autoridad de la PDM. En el sitio se presentaron efectivos militares de la Guardia Nacional Bolivariana (GNB), funcionarios del Cuerpo de Policía Nacional Bolivariana (CPNB), Protección Civil (PC) y del Sebin.
