Cada 13 de junio, el Barrio San Antonio de Naiguatá, festejan su devoción a San Antonio de Padua, iniciando con una misa en la Iglesia Nuestra Señora de Coromoto, en Pueblo Arriba, además de una procesión por las calles, acompañada del repique de tambores, rezos y parrandas.

Naiguatá data 1710 y fue bautizada bajo el nombre de San Francisco de Asís de Naiguatá y con el paso del tiempo fue llamada Naigua y finalmente Naiguatá, nombre con el que hoy se le conoce. Es por lo que el patrono de esta parroquia es San Antonio de Padua, quien es conocido como el doctor de la Iglesia y patrono de los pobres.
San Antonio de Padua es uno de los santos más rezados por la feligresía católica. Según los creyentes, se le atribuye el don de encontrar algún objeto que se haya perdido y según, muchas mujeres acuden a él para pedir por los deseos imposibles y un buen esposo.
