El sujeto, luego de ejecutar las agresiones, intentó huir del lugar, pero fue retenido por vecinos, quienes luego de propinarles golpes en defensa de la dama, alertaron a efectivos de la Policía de La Guaira, para que procedieran a su detención.
Los funcionarios policiales se encargaron de llevar a Kelvis Jesús hasta Pariata para su revision médica y posteriormente fue trasladado a la Dirección de Investigaciones y Estrategias Preventivas de Macuto.
