Después de varias semanas de trabajo, la Gobernación entregó rehabilitado el Centro de Educación Inicial Yajaira Castillo ubicado en Catamare, parroquia Catia La Mar, el cual beneficia a más de 40 familias del sector.
Daniel Mata, Secretario de Gobierno, informó que se rehabilitó el techo con la colocación de vigas e impermeabilización; instalación de tubería para agua potable; se realizó el friso, encamisado y pintura de todos los espacios de este centro de educación inicial. Además, se construyó el área de la cocina y se instalaron luminarias tipo LED.

Cabe destacar que este plantel educativo tenía más de 10 años en deterioro y fue recuperado a través de las Bricomiles con una inversión total de 656 mil 270 bolívares.
Jennifer Díaz, directora del CEIN Yajaira Castillo, agradeció al presidente Nicolás Maduro, y al gobernador José Alejandro Terán, por la rehabilitación del centro y la dotación de alimentos para entregarle a los niños y niñas que hacen vida en esta institución. “Recibimos también la dotación de una nevera y una cocina para todos estos estudiantes”.
