Guaireños piden atención a sus necesidades

En La Guaira, los habitantes enfrentan diversas necesidades que influyen en su calidad de vida y que requieren atención por parte del gobierno local para su mejora. Entre las necesidades más apremiantes se pueden mencionar, la carencia de servicios básicos como agua potable, alcantarillado adecuado y pavimentación de calles.

Otros habitantes buscan oportunidades de empleo digno y sostenible, así como programas de apoyo a emprendedores locales para fomentar el desarrollo económico de la región.

Luisa Betancourt, residente de Quebrada Seca, expresó su preocupación por el estado deplorable de las vías en su comunidad, donde han solicitado, en varias ocasiones, la pavimentación para solucionar los constantes problemas ocasionados por los huecos. Carmen Ortega, residente del mismo lugar, resaltó que es necesario restablecer el servicio de agua potable en sectores como el Rincón.

Por su parte, Carlos Rosal, resaltó que es necesario mejorar el servicio eléctrico en el Litoral, así como los problemas con el alumbrado público, pues esto trae problemas de inseguridad. Hizo un llamado también, en que se deben promover actividades culturales y recreativas en espacios públicos, para brindar opciones de esparcimiento a todas las edades.

“La realización de actividades culturales en las plazas de Maiquetía, para los niños y adultos mayores, son cosas que no deben ser muy difíciles para el gobierno”, comentó Rosal, refiriéndose a las pocas actividades que realizan en la parroquia.

Por otro lado, Jesús Gómez y Eleazar Rodríguez destacan la necesidad de generar oportunidades laborales para todos los guaireños sin distinción de edad. “En los últimos años, las empresas solo ingresan a jóvenes. El acceso al empleo es fundamental para garantizar la subsistencia, con una pensión es difícil mantenerse”.

“Le dan empleo a los jóvenes nada más, a uno lo echan a un lado, y no puede ser así, yo como todos los días”, expresó Rodríguez.

Estas necesidades reflejan áreas clave en las que el gobierno local podría enfocar sus esfuerzos para mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes y responder a sus peticiones.
