Julio Orozco relató un incidente en el cual un vecino fue mordido por una rata en la oreja, además contó que la acumulación de basura y aguas estancadas en el río, ha propiciado un ambiente para la proliferación del dengue. “A pesar de que se realizó un recorrido de fumigación en la zona, este no incluyó los callejones cercanos a la quebrada, lo que ha generado preocupación entre los vecinos”.
La falta de mantenimiento adecuado en la quebrada ha generado un impacto significativo en la calidad de vida de los habitantes cercanos al río. Ante esta situación, los residentes hacen un llamado a las autoridades competentes para que se aboquen a la limpieza de este foco de contaminación, el cual es un riesgo potencial para contraer enfermedades.
