Los habitantes de la comunidad Amistad Bicentenaria, en Marapa Piache, Catia La Mar, solicitan la culminación del embaulado del río y construcción de un puente, pues ante la crecidas del río, producto de las lluvias, se les hace cuesta arriba sacar una emergencia, quedando hasta incomunicados.
Al mismo tiempo, requieren del saneamiento del río y que sean continuas las visitas del aseo urbano, ya que vecinos lanzan sus desperdicios a orillas del cauce, en vista de que el servicio pasa largo tiempo sin llegar al sector.

Norland Pérez también extendió la solicitud a las autoridades del estado para recuperar la cancha del sector, a propósito de que está en total deterioro, y es el único lugar para que niños y jóvenes realicen sus actividades deportivas.
Otra situación que agrava la convivencia de los vecinos, es el agua y los constantes cortes de luz, “el cual es algo que todo el mundo sabe, se va y viene cuando ella quiere o cuando hay algún problema» comenta Pérez.
