Comerciantes del casco histórico de La Guaira manifiestan que deben cancelar por la factura de los servicios de energía eléctrica, aseo urbano y relleno sanitario, más de 4.000 bolívares mensuales, equivalentes $138, ganancias que se les hace cuesta arriba percibir, y atenta contra la estabilidad de sus negocios.
Los 16 comerciantes que actualmente hacen vida en la zona, denunciaron que la mañana de este martes 18 de julio, cortaron la luz de uno de ellos, pues este se rehusó a pagar el relleno sanitario, que a su juicio tiene un costo excesivamente alto e irrelevante.

No obstante, los afectados señalan que pese a haber cancelado la factura del mes pasado, muchos fueron amenazados con un corte de la electricidad como medida de presión para que se mantengan al día con sus pagos.
Detallan que esta situación representa un «dolor de cabeza»; por esta razón, hacen un llamado a las autoridades regionales, especialmente al alcalde José Manuel Suárez, para que se pronuncie sobre esta situación que afecta económicamente a todos los comercios del Litoral Central.
