En La Guaira, se realizó por primera la convención regional del partido Avanzada Progresista, actividad que se ha venido desarrollando en otros estados del país, en la busqueda de fortalecer sus bases y encaminados a una Convención Nacional, de la que saldrá el abanderado de la organización política.
La actividad tuvo lugar este sábado 09 de septiembre en horas del Medio mediodía, y tuvo como punto de encuentro la calle Ricaurter del Casco Histórico de La Guiara, donde se dió la dirigencia regional de la organización política, encabezada por su Secretario General, Ruben Meleán.

@rubenmeleanv, quien también es diputado a La Asamblea Nacional, señaló estar convencido de que en la entidad hay que buscar la forma de cambiar como se hace política. “Así las consecuencias sean duras, a la gente se les debe hablar con la verdad”.
Por su parte, Luis Augusto Romero, secretario general nacional del partido; manifestó que, en Avanzada Progresista estan llamado a mantener la esperanza y a marcar un hito en la política venezolana.
El evento que contó con la presencia de diferentes representantes de los factores democráticos del estado, tales como Acción Democrática, Primero Venezuela, Cambiemos y Copei; finalizó con la juramentación del nuevo equipo que conformará el Comité Ejecutivo Regional de la organización política en el Litoral Central.
